Came here for a birthday lunch. We chose this restaurant because my son had recently had dinner here with his colleagues and highly recommended the Beijing Roast Duck. We ordered a whole Beijing Roast Duck (which we reserved in advance), Crab Roe Xiaolongbao, and a vegetable dish. The Beijing Roast Duck was just as good as my son had recommended. The crispy duck skin and some of the meat were beautifully sliced and arranged on two plates. However, the restaurant provided only a very small amount of sliced green onions, wraps, and sweet bean sauce for us to make the duck wraps. We had to pay extra to order more green onions, sauce, and wraps, which was a little disappointing. Since my son had already tried the regular Xiaolongbao, we decided to order the Crab Roe Xiaolongbao this time. Although the crab roe version was more expensive, we actually found it less flavorful than the regular Xiaolongbao. Overall, the Beijing Roast Duck was authentic and definitely the highlight of the meal, but the other dishes were just average.

Excellent food, amazing service, and a beautiful atmosphere! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Peking duck and spicy fish were especially outstanding—honestly, some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve tried many Chinese restaurants throughout the Bay Area, and Imperial Treasure is better than any Chinese restaurant I’ve experienced in the Bay. The service was also excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!

Hidden within a nondescript business plaza near downtown Palo Alto, this Chinese restaurant has a beautifully decorated interior, and serves delicious traditional Chinese dishes. Everything we tried had fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and nice presentation. Fast and efficient service. Free street parking can be difficult to find, especially during peak meal hours.

My family and I had a really good dining experience at this place. We went after Christmas and despite the place being packed, they were able to accommodate us without a reservation (We just got lucky). The staff was very nice and accommodating. We wanted to try the roast duck which was the most recommended dish on the internet about this place but we found out that we had to have called ahead of time and place an order. They did try and see if we can still get it but they didn't have enough stock to serve an unexpected order which is fine. The next best thing they recommended was the Sweet & Sour Mandarin Fish. Boy was it amazing! It was the perfect blend of sweet and sour. I've had sweet and sour dishes before that can go overboard with the sweet that it makes the dish difficult to finish but this was not one of those. The sauce was just right and nice. The fish itself also was fried really well. Crispy pieces of fish on the outside and tender on the inside. It did not feel oily at all. It went amazing with rice. It wasn't just tasty, the fish was fun to eat too with they way it was cut and prepared. It was a perfect centerpiece dish for the family to share. I remember we had

This place is a bit tucked away and not very obvious from the main road. You’ll need to walk down a small side path to find the entrance, but once you do, it’s definitely worth it. If you’re planning to get the Peking duck, I’d recommend reserving it ahead of time. You can also call right when they open at 11am to place an order. The food has been consistently good, and this was already my second visit. Dishes came out fairly quickly, and everything tasted solid. It’s a great spot for a casual meal with family or friends, and I can see myself coming back again in the future.
